Welcome! A bit about Ross.
I enjoy solving physical and mathematical problems using creative computation and light-based technology.
I am a physicist with a background in ultrafast science and nonlinear optics. My doctoral work is based on a series of experimental and theoretical studies of laser filamentation, harmonic generation, and ultrafast visualization using techniques like digital holography and tomographic interferometry. I'm interested in using physics to answer fundamental questions about how photons interact with matter, and I aim to extend my science to real world applications ranging from medicine to optical computing. Below is some of my featured work.
